The Plymouth Manufacturers' Group or 'PMG' has represented the manufacturing and engi- neering sector in Plymouth for over thirty years. We collectively have a turnover of more than £1.6 billion and employ over 12,000 employees.

If you are a manufacturing or an engineering firm from within the Plymouth travel-to-work- area (TTWA) and are not currently a member of the Group we'd like to hear from you. Two years ago we formed a new network especially for small to medium-sized firms with between 10 and 99 employees. We now have over twenty members and we're always looking for more.

The benefits of membership are:
  Foremost, the group provides regular networking opportunities for the leaders of a range of firms from across the sector.
We offer six network meetings a year mostly held on manufac- turing sites offering tours and senior management speakers. The PMG helps and encourages its members to flourish; grow and improve productivity by benefiting from links with other firms; sharing information and best practice and from en- gaging with a range of Partner agencies including FE and HE providers; the Local Enterprise Partnership; UKTI; the TSB and others.
The group acts in unison with full members of the PMG to provide the representative voice of firms from within the manufacturing and engineering sector in the Plymouth TTWA. Participating in and receiving the results of regular surveys including our annual 'Health of the Sector' report.
